This is a State scheme launched during the year 2008-09. Under the scheme, the amount is being utilized on the works to be prioritized by the Government in consultation with elected representative of PRIs on the basis of felt need of the villages to eradicate the backwardness of the area. Under this scheme, an amount of Rs. 58779.64 lakhs was released during the years 2008-09 to 2015-16.

In the year 2016-17, an amount of Rs. 32924.16 lakhs had been released. An amount of Rs.9000.00 lakhs had been sanctioned for the year 2017-18, Out of which an amount of Rs. 8790.85 lakhs had been released. Under the Scheme, an amount of Rs.70801.67 lakhs have been spent during the present Govt. tennure. An amout of Rs.14500.00 lakhs has been made for the year 2018-19, out of which an amount of Rs.9257.59 lakh have been released. A budget provision of Rs.36000.00 lakhs has been made for the year 2019-20, out of which an amount of Rs.8485.76 lakh have been released so far.
